It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon David Bonnar on December 24th, 2025 at the age of 44. Gordon was predeceased by his father David Bonnar. He was the beloved son of Judy Downing, brother of Stacey (Steve Laurin) and Jennifer. He will be forever cherished by his grandmother, Shirley Bonnar (the late Lou Bonnar) and remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Gordie, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by his kindness and love for his family and friends.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Desforges Funeral Home, 188 rue Principale, Grenville, QC (819) 242-2113. A celebration to honour Gordon will be held on Sunday February 1st 2026 at the Grenville Community Center from 1 PM to 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Ottawa Hospital would be appreciated.
