  1. Annemarie and Walter Cornelissen dit :

Although we met her only once in 2007, in the Hawkesbury senior residence, she truly made an unforgettable impression on us.
The sad news has reached us by E-mail.
We send our condolences to all relatives.

(Annemarie’s father was Ross Warwick a World War II soldier)

  2. James Warwick, Buckingham, Québec dit :

We were saddened to hear of the loss of Shirley. We did not get to know her very well but my father and I had the chance to visit with her in Brownsburg. She told us about a lot of our relatives from Brownsburg whom we did not know. I wish I could attend the funeral service however I cannot due to a previous engagement. My father was Ernest Warwick.

  3. The Rev. Tom and Audrey Morikawa dit :

We have fond memories of Shirley as a friend and colleague. Her last place of active ministry was at Wentworth Baptist Church in Hamilton where she served with my husband, The Rev. Tom Morikawa. He deeply appreciated her caring ministry. She was an enthusiastic, energetic and effective worker in church and community outreach. Throughout her years of service, Shirley was supported by the Baptist Women of Ontario and Quebec. As Director of this organization from 1975-1997, I (Audrey) knew Shirley in this capacity for many years. She touched many lives, including ours, for which we are grateful. To all the family, we send our condolences.
    Tom and Audrey Morikawa

  5. Victoria Durie dit :

Shirley was my mentor all through my teen years and into my early 20s. I had the joy of working with her for two summers as a young woman. She taught me how to store of buckets of craft materials, how to knock on doors (not the easiest thing I have ever done), how to tell stories and love all you come in contact with. Her laugh, energy and love of people always put a smile on my face. What a joy and honour it has been to know Shirley. She is face to face with our Lord what a joy it is for her this Easter weekend.

  6. Dorothy and Ralph Neal dit :

Shirley was a wonderful friend and servant of our Lord and Saviour. What a wonderful weekend to be called home. I got to know Shirley through her many years of active service with Baptist Women. She has made an impact on all she met. Praise be to God for the life she lived and shared. I will be praying for you her family as you gather to celebrate her life on Thursday.
